Prerequisites
You have an Omada Controller (Cloud/Software/Hardware) or Omada Cloud access and your APs/EAPs are adopted.
Controller must be running while using portal/voucher features.

1) Create the SSID (WLAN)
1. Open the Omada app and select the Site you manage (or log in to the Controller web UI if you prefer).
2. Go to Settings > Wireless Networks (WLAN) (App: sometimes under “Networks” or “Wireless”).
3. Click Create New Wireless Network / Add SSID.
4. Fill fields:
Network name (SSID) → e.g. Cafe-Guest
Security → For many voucher portals you create an Open SSID (No password) and rely on the portal for login.
(You can use WPA + portal in some setups, but common hotspot examples use Open + portal).
(Optional) VLAN or Guest Network toggle if you want client isolation.
5. Save / Apply.
